About SA

SA is a service organization for Icelandic businesses with six associations operating on the basis of the different industrial activities involved. Over 2,000 companies in various sectors are members of SA, from self-employed entrepreneurs to the largest companies in the country. 70% of salaried employees in the Icelandic labour market are employed by SA member associations.

SA projects include negotiations of collective agreements with unions on wages and working conditions, the advocation of an internationally competitive legal and regulatory environment, and the interpretation and communication of decisions by governmental authorities that directly affect the business environment.
